Dr. Milauskas is a native Californian. She graduated from UC Davis in 1994, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in English. She obtained her veterinary degree at The University College Dublin, Ireland. After graduation from veterinary school, she practiced in Oregon for 8 years before returning to California.
In 2008, Dr. Milauskas attended Colorado State University’s Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians course and became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. She has a strong interest in integrating alternative veterinary therapies into her practice of veterinary medicine.
She is also certified member of PennHIP, a multi-faceted radiographic screening method for hip evaluation, which assesses the quality of the canine hip and quantitatively measures canine hip joint laxity.
Dr. Milauskas is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the California Veterinary Medical Association, the Oregon Veterinary Medical Association, and the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. She lives in Marin County with her black lab, Kiely.
