- About Us

The Leanne B. Roberts Animal Care Center is the home of the SF SPCA’s veterinary services. It includes our nonprofit, full-service Veterinary Hospital, Spay/Neuter Clinic, Feral Fix Program and Shelter Medicine Program.
For years, our experienced veterinarians have provided high-quality care to guardians who can afford veterinary services, those that need financial assistance, and free care for homeless animals or pets of homeless people.
This translates into approximately $1.5 million in free or discounted veterinary care each year, and the Leanne Roberts Center is dramatically increasing the number of animals we are able to serve — including doubling our spay/neuter capacity.
The Leanne Roberts Center is being funded entirely by private donors, whose contributions provide a true gift to all of our city’s animals — and to the people who love them.
